Rockwood Thunder 12 Days of Giving

On December 13th, Rockwood Thunder began the 12 Days of Giving Campaign. The goal of this initiative was to show support to frontline workers in our community as well as helping out local restaurants who have been affected by the recent pandemic. Over the course of the 12 days, Rockwood Thunder provided 19 different meals and spent over $3500 at local restaurants. 21 different Rockwood Thunder teams donated funds or sponsored meals for 9 hospitals, 4 police departments, 5 fire departments, and 4 different custodial teams at Rockwood School District schools. Below is a list of all the restaurants and locations who were a part of our 12 Days of Giving!

Day 1- STL County Police Department was provided lunch from Double Ds. 

Day 2 - Mercy Emergency Room was provided breakfast from Donut Palace.

Day 3 - Missouri Baptist Intensive Care Unit was given Pretzel Boys.

Day 4 - Metro West Fire District Station 3 was provided dinner from Big Chief Roadhouse. 

Day 5 - Rockwood School District Custodians at 4 different schools used by Rockwood Thunder received lunch from Peppers Deli.

The Ellisville Police Department was provided dinner from Mom's Deli.

The Eureka Police Department received dinner from Poor Richards.

Day 6 - Mercy Hospital's Labor & Delivery Floor was provided Gus' Pretzels.

Metro West Fire District Station 4 received desserts from Olivette Diner.

Day 7 - The Chesterfield Police Department was given desserts from White Box Catering.

Day 8 - Metro West Fire District Stations 1 and 2 were provided dinner from Hog Town Smokehouse.

Day 9 - DePaul Emergency Room received breakfast from The Bagel Factory.  

Day 10 - A snack dropoff was provided at the following 4 locations:

The Emergency Department at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital

The Interventional Pulmonology Suite at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

The COVID-19 Floors at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

The Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital South

Day 11 - Metro West Fire District Station 5 was given dinner from Wildwood Pub.

Day 12 - Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital received  breakfast from The Donut Stop.

A big thank you to the following 21 teams who donated or sponsored meals 10 navy, 11 elite, 11 navy, 11 white, 12 navy, 12 white, 12 carolina, 12 black, 13 elite, 13 navy, 13 white, 14 elite, 14 boys elite, 15 elite, 16 elite, 16 navy, 16 white, 17 elite, 17 navy, 18 elite, and 18 navy. Also a special thanks to Jordan Berry for organizing the 1st Annual 12 Days of Giving Campaign. 

We cannot wait until next year's holiday season to spread more LOVE and FOOD to the amazing community that supports Rockwood Thunder!
