After taking first place in the 18's Bid Event, 18 Elite earned the first bid of the year for Rockwood Thunder.  They earned their bid in the National Division with the hope of earning an Open bid at an upcoming qualifier.  18s USAV Nationals will take place in Columbus. OH at the end of April.

18 Elite also won the Gateway League tournament, winning 15 of 16 matches and dropping only two sets over all four weekends of play. They matched up again 16 Elite in the finals.
